The Second Childhood

Wiktionary.org defines "second childhood" as, "The period or state of cognitive decline of an elderly person, characterized by childlike judgment and behavior. A childlike state in any adult, resulting from mental illness, trauma, or other conditions."

Not a very flattering picture! When an adult acts like a child playing with toys, talking baby talk, not taking responsibility for his or her actions we may excuse it as participation in one's "second childhood."

Adults are expected to act like adults. When the Corinthians were acting irrationally, the apostle Paul encouraged them, "Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature" (1 Corinthians 14:20). He expected them to be mature, or adult, in their thinking, but innocent regarding evil. Paul also used the illustration of mature behavior in chapter 13, verse 11: "When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways." He made a distinction between childhood and adulthood.

There is an analogy in the spiritual realm. God requires that believers submit to the authority of church leaders so the body of Christ will grow. "And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes" (Ephesians 4:11-14). God's children are to gain adult discernment, wisdom, and stability. The source of spiritual nourishment for this growth is the Word of God: "Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation" (1 Peter 2:2).

Now, growth to maturity implies a start in immaturity, or childhood. This would mean a beginning of spiritual life, and this is what the Bible teaches.

When Jesus explained the kingdom of God to Nicodemus (John 3), he told him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God" (3:3). Nicodemus thought Jesus meant physical birth, but he meant a spiritual rebirth. To be saved, a citizen of the heavenly kingdom, a person must, in the spiritual sense, enter a second childhood.

A physical second childhood may be an annoyance. At one point, the disciples found actual little children to be annoying, unworthy of Jesus' time and attention (Luke 18:5-17). However, Jesus used these children as an example of the innocent trusting attitude needed to become his disciple (Mark 10:13-15). This even involves discipline from our Heavenly Father (Hebrews 12:5-11; Revelation 20:6, 14).

To enter that second childhood takes faith. A person cannot turn back the clock and slide down the birth canal again. Just as we play no part in our natural birth, we contribute nothing to our spiritual birth (John 1:12-13). This birth is wrought by believing the Word of God: "[S]ince you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God" (1 Peter 1:23).

The old adage is true: "Born once, die twice. Born twice, die once." Being born physically is one thing; being born again spiritually is everything!

You Must Be Ready For His Return

Do you feel it? There is a feeling that something big is about to happen very soon. If you have eyes to see and ears to hear, you will notice that the world has changed dramtically in the past three years. There are problems everywhere in the world, and no one seems able to fix any of them.

Many countries around the world are having trouble feeding their citizens, there are major water shortages, strange and unusual weather patterns, earthquakes and floods, wars and rumors of wars, and there is confusion, anger, and fear in many people's hearts. Do you know the real reason behind what is happening in the world? And where is the hand of God in all of these things?

The Lord created this universe and this world long ago, he created man in His own image, and gave Him dominion over the earth. He was willing to live with man in His garden, and fellowship with him. He loved adam and eve and wanted the best for them. He wanted to share everything He had with them; He was a perfect father to them, and they would always be His children. He also knew that they would choose to go their own way when they were tested. He gave them the choice to love Him and obey Him, to worship in His presence forever in love, peace, and joy, and they chose to listen to the devil's lies, to believe they could be gods and that Father God had lied to them; they actually believed they could be better with the knowledge of good and evil. That was a tragic mistake, and the reason why the human heart is so fickle today.

....I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.” But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of coveting..... I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death. For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death.......(7,10)

....We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it......(14,17,19)

...So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!...(22-25)

We all want to do well in this world, to be good, but we cannot escape our fallen human nature, which wants to do good on one hand, and then wants to be selfish on the other hand. As christians, we fight this influence every day, and sometimes we win and sometimes we lose, but ultimately everyone that believes in Jesus Christ and accepts Him as Lord and Savior is a winner. He is the solution to the world's problems, a solution many people want to destroy, discredit, and bury into the ground. As the world becomes more chaotic and desperate, He becomes a solution that they will not be able to ignore.

Live for Jesus Christ, because He chose to live and die for you. He cares about you with all His heart and might, and He will never leave you or forsake you. Take Him at His word, and surrender your heart and your life to Him, and He will show you a new way to live and how to love others and yourself. His sacrifice makes it possible to deal with our selfish human hearts on a daily basis, and His Holy Spirit will guide your heart and mind, and protect you from being destroyed by the ravages of life. If you know what is means to be born again, you have peace and joy in your heart that the world can't take from you. Keep on praying, keep on praising, and keep the Word of God in your heart.

We know the world cannot continue on this path, because it leads to total destruction; fortunately the Lord has a plan to come back again before that happens. He will reign in peace, with wisdom, and with total authority, and He will give the world what it needs to heal and to be whole again. Our goal should be to put our trust in Him and in His word, and to live through Him, as an expression of His love. We should never take anything we have for granted, because the times are coming when people will look for peace and stability, and they will not find any anywhere except within Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

So, I encourage you to hold on to Him, in your heart and mind, because He is the only real Treasure in this world; everything else will be burned in the trial of fire and will not survive. Only those who abide in Him will survive; remember that He loves you and will keep you whole no matter where you are in the world or whatever situation that you find yourself in. Allow Him to live in you and He will save you and your family and give you life everlasting. Glory Be To His Name Forever and Ever!

Prayer of Salvation

Lord,

I repent for trying to be master of my own life. I change my mind about who I want to be in charge of my life. I turn from my useless and unproductive thoughts that I am the center of my universe and choose to believe in the living God who created everything, including me (Acts 14:15). I have lived without a purpose but now I will live to hear and obey You, God (Jn. 5:19, 20,30).

I confess with my lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I believe that God so loved the world He sent His only Son Jesus to shed His blood to wash away the barrier of sin (Jn. 3:16)

I receive You, Jesus as MY Lord and Savior (Jn. 1:11,12).

I welcome You, Holy Spirit, into my life to rescue and empower me and to restore me to intimacy with my heavenly Father (Acts 2:38).

If you just confessed this prayer, you are saved! I welcome you into the family my (brother/sister) I pray for peace, joy, and happiness in your life as you allow the Lord to love you and bless you and give you assurance of everlasting life with Him forever and ever......PRAISE GOD!

Move By The Spirit

My first experience of really knowing the presence of God in my heart was when I traveled to St Lucia on behalf of the travel wholesaler company that I was working for at the time. I was relaxing in my seat on the airplane and we were close to landing on the island, and the Holy Spirit came over me and through me. I could feel His love, comfort and acceptance of me. The feeling was so strong, that I was smiling profusely.

When I opened my eyes, a passenger sitting across from me in the other aisle, wanted to know what I was thinking about, since I seemed to be very happy. I just smiled at them and really didn't say much, because how could I explain the feeling of total love and acceptance? I doubted that this person was a believer, and this was pretty early in my spiritual development; I am not sure that I could do so right now. Some things cannot be explained with just words, you really have to experience them for yourself.

That experience was over 10 years ago, and at the time I hadn't really begun to hear the Lord speaking to my heart, but His presence was very strong because I had begun to focus upon Him. I had always felt His presence growing up, usually in church, but I wasn't aware what the feeling was or what it meant to feel it. I saw people praising Him in church, shouting, sometimes crying, and demonstrating 'the move of the spirit', as that is what happened in black churches and as it still does today. It didn't know why they did those things, and it wasn't until I had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that I began to appreciate who He was and then I wanted to praise His name.

When you allow yourself to be moved by His Spirit, you enter a new dimension of love and acceptance, and no other experience you will ever have in this world will beat it. Keep your focus on Him and His word, and you will be filled with His spirit and it will overflow from your heart into your mind and body, and into all the situations of your life. If you can't hear His voice in your heart, don't worry; just continue to pray, read the bible, and worship Him on a daily basis.

Spiritual maturity comes with practice, and that means keeping a steady communication with God in prayer, in praise, and in worship. Studying the word of God is necessary; the word flowing from your heart and from your mouth changes you. It helps a great deal if you can see the world as the Lord sees it, and wisdom flows from those who meditate on God's word on a daily basis.

It is important to know, that you cannot do anything righteous without the move of the Spirit in your heart. We can love others, even our enemies, because of the work of the Holy Spirit. Don't condemn yourself when your old human nature rises up from time to time because the Lord will not condemn you. Allow yourself to be led by the Holy Spirit, and you will not act on any thought or desire that is not within the will of God. He loves you, and as long as you continue in Him, and listen to the promptings of His Spirit, He will not focus on your weaknesses.

Be encouraged, because all your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ are dealing with the same issues; we will never be perfect on this side of eternity, but we serve a perfect God, who will use our weaknesses perfectly to fulfill the plans that He has for our lives.

Be patient and let Him do what is necessary to get the best out of you and your life. Love Him, and He will reveal His heart and mind to you. Obey Him, and your life will give Him glory. Trust Him, and He will protect you from the coming storm. Give Him praise, and you will live in His presence forever.

Thank you Jesus, for loving us so much, and for filling me with joy and happiness in my heart as I worship you everywhere and at all times!

Make Haste And Come Down

"For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost," (Luke 19:10 KJV).

A few encounters in the Bible literally stopped Jesus in his tracks. Spotting a little man named Zacchaeus sitting in a Sycamore tree was one of them. The crowd that was following Jesus must have been mystified, for there was no love lost on Zacchaeus. He was the chief tax collector in town. Hearing all the acclaim surrounding Jesus, he climbed up into a Sycamore tree to catch a glimpse of Him as he passed by. But Jesus didn't pass by. He stopped and looked up. "Zacchaeus" he said, "Make haste and come down; for today I must abide at thy house," (Luke19:5 KJV).

Jesus didn't wait for an invitation. He didn't say "Perhaps if you will be pleased to have me, I will come over at your request when you're ready." No such societal correctness recorded. Jesus announced he was coming "today", and Zacchaeus had better get down quick or risk missing the opportunity of a lifetime.

Like Zacchaeus, sometimes its easier to observe God from our "Sycamore tree". God can't expect too much from us when we're holed up in a tree hanging onto our baggage. But Jesus just might stop in his tracks and look up anyway. And if we follow His command to make haste and come down - who knows what could happen? Exciting, isn't it? Trojan Horse

BACK IN 2008 I WAS SENT BY THE LORD TO GO TO AMERICA ALONE AND STAY WITH A FAMILY IN MICHIGAN. THE LORD REVEALED TO ME THE SPIRITUAL POVERTY OF THIS LAND WHOM BOTH THE LORD LOVES AND ALSO MYSELF SINCE A YOUNG GIRL. I LIVE IN ENGLAND. THE FIRST MORNING IN PRAYER IN THE LAND OF AMERICA THE LORD GAVE ME THE WORD 'TROJAN HORSE'. THIS WAS VERY INTERESTING AS I STUDIED CLASSICAL STUDIES AND KNEW THE STORY WELL, HAVING STUDIED 'THE ODYSSEY BY HOMER'. LITTLE WAS I TO KNOW THAT THIS WAS A PROPHETIC WARNING FOR A TIME AHEAD. EIGHT YEARS LATER THE LORD DECIDED IN HIS WISDOM FOR ME TO RELEASE THIS WORD. I HAVE BEEN WRITING FOR THE LORD PROPHETICALLY SINCE 2007 FOR AMERICA, THIS ONCE BLESSED NATION. MY PEN NAME IS SHOFAR GIRL AND NOW THE SHOFAR IS SOUNDING LOUD AGAIN.

I am long suffering towards my people. I have waited patiently for many to turn to me, yet still they are distracted by the things of this world. It is written thy shall have no other gods before Me. Yet the god of this age has blinded you, he has blind-sided your heart. On one side you worship me and then on the other out of view of the people around you, even those close to you, you indulge in sinful, wicked imaginations of your own heart. No one can see you, but I have been watching!

I am the LORD that sees all things, knows all things, even unto your own heart which is deceitful above all else. You are enmity with the Father, yet you are totally deceived to this and continue in your ways! You idolise 'the book' the written scriptures yet you do NOT come to Me the spring of Living Waters.

You speak from a standing where you were once were, still in your sins, stamping your own approval to be seen and appraised by those around you. Many wear a tag around their neck, which is in truth to be your milestone, saying 'I am a born again Christian' but you relish in the world, you accept those things that are detestable to Me.

I tell you the truth, this world offers death, for the wages of sin are death.

I have asked, even commanded that you forsake ALL for Me, yet even this, you dispute to your own shame for it is written 'Go sell everything and give to the poor; then come follow Me'. Even this you dispute with Me for you covet much, you covet your own desires, your own ambitions, your own agendas all in your own understanding from the flesh.

You are a deceived nation! By your own words, by your own actions you are against Me!

The deception is all around you. There is no peace, you are believing in lies. Yet, you love it this way!

You WERE a blessed nation. I am NOW removing your lampstand and to thrust you into much darkness, this too has been written and is unequalled in distress more than at any other time. America you have believed lies of restoration. You do not know My Word, You do not know Me! You have dug your own cisterns and YOU have chosen your man, your king and this you have done for many decades now. Oh America this man whom you have chosen is you're Trojan horse, yet even this you will not believe it, but you will find his lies will be to your detriment.

Oh deceived nation. My wrath is HERE NOW!! Yet you perceive it not!

The whirlwinds are coming, they are coming in the multitude, for they are many, many. The Watchman has left the gap, the wall is open and crumbling. The gate is open and the Shepherds preach lies in My Name. There is no peace, for the day is coming and I am mourning already for it is here NOW.

You say you long for the day, but it is a day of great mourning, for the prophets around you are as wind, I am the same yesterday, today and forever. You claim no sword will come. I tell you the truth the sword, My Sword is HERE NOW!! It will divide your household in two.

Your idols, your houses, your businesses, your economy will collapse. Your prestige, your standing, your community built not on the Cornerstone of truth, of righteousness, of attending to those in need of justice. I am to bring swift destruction and many will go over the edge as lemmings on a clifftop for you have trusted and believed in man and his lies.

Many speak lies in My Name saying 'My Word that I have given the prophets who prophesy doom is from the evil one and are lies and they are deceived'.

Oh deceived nation, you are the one who has listened to lies, you have listened to the imaginations of their own deceived heart. These people lie in wait and set traps with their words. I have NOT sent these people to speak forth My Word. They are still stood in their sins, they speak falsehood and you have let them in! Your houses are cages full of birds, these houses are full of deceit.

Cover your heads O people! For a calamity is coming

The Shofar is sounding the alarm. It is HERE!

Forsake ALL turn to ME for only My blood is your covering, nothing else!

I the LORD speak now for an army is coming, it is being prepared at this very hour from a land of the North. It is being stirred up against you. Oh deceived national you have taken in your Trojan horse. Your veiled eyes of lust will be your downfall.

The Holy Spirit alone remains at this time on the earth specifically for My Elect, those who are WHOLLY surrendered, persecuted for the sake of My Cross. I tell you O deceived America you have listened to lies and many are enemies of the Cross and want to escape the long suffering that I have had with you for so long.

My heart is wrenched in two at what I am about to do, but you have rejected My Word, My eternal Word. You have trampled on and crucified the King of Glory all over again. There is NO MORE SACRIFICE LEFT! I repent that I blessed you as a nation to be a light, My Light, to the whole world, you have taken my blessings to your own selfish gain. My ways are not the ways of this world. You are blaspheming the Holy Spirit by rejecting Me. Your nature is carnal and belongs to this world.

Seek Me! Seek My Face and live! For the crack in the door of My Grace is to shut and forever unto all eternity, there is no other way but through Jesus Christ, no other Way, yet I know the truth, I know all things, I know all men's hearts few will find Me.

Jesus Christ is the reality!

Behold! I am NOW HERE!

Repent even now I am pleading with you!

REPENT for it is NOT my desire to see anyone perish.

REPENT ~ My wrath is come it is RIGHT NOW AT THE DOOR!

You have decided, you have chosen. You have torn My garment of Grace as Saul did unto Samuel.

My Glory, My Lampstand is NOW removed.

Oh deceived nation wake up! REPENT NOW! Before it is too late!

For I shall come as a thief in the night.

O deceived church wake up!

Sound the alarm!

Sound the shofar!

Many lives for all eternity hang in the balance RIGHT NOW!
Seek Me, Seek Me and Live!

Faith Is The Substance Of Your Heart

When you open your heart to Christ, you are choosing to live by God's standards, and you are giving everything of value that you have to give; your heart, your mind, and your soul. You become a place of love and peace, as a vessel filled with the Holy Spirit, who chooses to live inside your heart, because you choose to believe in Jesus Christ.

No one has the right to condemn you, if you live for Jesus Christ, for you are His child, and only He has the right to forgive you or condemn you, and He never condemns His own; you are covered by His blood. You are righteous in His eyes because of your faith, and no one can repeal His judgement and agreement with you. As you follow Christ and read the word of God with the promptings of the Holy Spirit, your heart and mind will be changed, transformed into the likeness of Christ. When God is through changing us, He will see His son in us; we will be complete.

Don't worry about the outcomes of life, because He will be there to help you through the hard times. You may not feel righteous, and you may make mistakes; the Lord knows your heart and what you are capable of doing. Take the first steps, and He will help you with the last steps. Faith allows you to see the big picture of life, not just your day to day problems. When you focus on the goal and leave the consquences of daily living to God, He will make a way appear that you would never have believed or thought of on your own, so let Him do His work in you and be prepared to be amazed!

Give Him the chance to show Himself mighty in your situations; praise Him and honor Him with your lips, love Him with your heart, worship in His presence, obey Him with all your might. When you practice your faith every day, your heart becomes stronger and the issues of life that appear will seem like nothing compared to what the Lord can do for you. Be strong in the Lord and In His Mighty Power (Ephesians 6:10)

Thanksgiving Day Prayer

God, Help Me.......

O God, when I have food,
help me to remember the hungry;
When I have work,
help me to remember the jobless;
When I have a home,
help me to remember those who have no home at all;
When I am without pain,
help me to remember those who suffer,
And remembering,
help me to destroy my complacency;
bestir my compassion,
and be concerned enough to help;
By word and deed,
those who cry out for what we take for granted.

There Is No Place Left In Your Heart For God

Find a place in your heart for true love.

Luke ch 10:25-27

On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

“What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”

He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

When you are faced with problems in your life, and when you have tried every possible logical way to solve the problem, and nothing else seems to work, what is your next move? Is that when you remember that there is a God in heaven who may be able to help? Suddenly, you begin to realize that you don't have as much power and influence in your own affairs as you thought.

Loving God means that you allow Him to drive the car, because the truth is that you have always been the passenger. Life's struggles seem to have a way of clearing your head and your mind from believing lies, holding on to denials, and harboring deceits. When you come to the end of your rope, no amount of pride, social and political mongering, pseudo scientific data, or harebrained schemes will keep you motivated to live the way you have always lived; when you are hurting and in pain, you will look for a real solution that will solve your problems.

Trust in Jesus Christ, the One who loves you, the One who died for you, that gave you life, and blessed you with health, provisions, and hope. Live for Him, and He will celebrate you and your life lived for His benefit. Open your heart to new revelations of love, peace, and happiness. This love, peace, and happiness is not as the world sees such things, but it is selfless love, resting in His presence, and joy in your heart; even when evertthing seems dark and gloomy, and everyone else around you is falling apart, you will know that God loves you, will take care of you, and will make a way out of no way.

The world may not be interested in the real God of Heaven coming down to fix its problems, but you may rest assured that Jesus Christ is coming back very soon, for humanity has shown it is unwilling to solve its problems with true love and wisdom. When He arrives, those who have survived the coming storm will be dismayed, because they wanted to do things their own way; dont allow yourself to be in that number.

He is knocking at the door of your heart, He loves you, and will not stop pursuing you until He is sure that you will never listen. Be willing to hear Him, be patient with the way He wants to change your life, and respond to His call of love, fellowship, and offer of salvation.

How To Find God's Wonderful Way

Satan, his demons and human followers (Luciferians includes today's Global Elite) derive a sexual type pleasure from torturing and killing everything that lives. During the Apocalypse Satan is to receive free reign for a very short time. God says, if that time were not shortened, nothing would have survived on this planet. The suffering will be greater than at any previous time in history, or ever shall be. Look it up.

BY EXTREME CONTRAST, THE LORD GOD IS A LOVING GOD, FORGIVING GOD, A SAVING, EVEN SELF-SACRIFICING GOD. We are not the only ones who have a problem with sin in this world. God has a problem with sin in this world. God hates sin. Unlike us, God may hate the sin, but he still loves the sinner.

Who gave us a Savior to save the lost and a miraculous GUIDE, the Bible? The Bible is a love story; written with blood, upon a wooden cross; the story of God's love for you.

Men are not lost because they are sinners; they are lost because they have rejected Jesus who died for them. Even if you go into a lost eternity and have not accepted Christ, He died for you, and you simply made His sacrifice for you of no avail. You have trodden underfoot the blood of your Savior.

Christ Jesus, your Creator, washed the feet of His disciples. They asked Him for a seat beside Him in heaven for distinction. What did he say? "On earth your rulers exploit you and oppress you and elevate themselves above you. But in heaven only he who is the SERVANT OF ALL IS THE GREATEST"(paraphrased, if you please).

Moses asked to see Gods glory. God said "I will let my goodness pass before you" (Exodus 33:18-19). God says HIS GOODNESS IS HIS GLORY. It's not the creation, which is the TREASURE. IT IS THE CREATOR. It's not the blue sky, the mountains, the white clouds or anything in this world which is the TREASURE, it is finding and loving and serving our God. If you miss this treasure, you have really missed everything.

If you ever loved anyone with your whole being, and were loved in return, you might understand how precious your loved one is. No physical possession could ever come near to this in importance.

Any CONCEIVABLE sacrifice in this world is worthwhile just to find Jesus and to belong to Him! If you want Him, pray now with me, "DEAREST LORD JESUS, FORGIVE ME MY SINS. PLEASE BE THE RULER OF MY LIFE. HELP ME TO LOVE YOU MORE EVERY DAY; HELP ME TO OBEY YOU WITH ALL MY STRENGTH AND TO READ YOUR BIBLE DAILY, EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE."

If you do this, and mean it, with an open heart, this prayer will never fail. It will become the greatest thing you will ever have, and it will last forever. Even in this life it will be the greatest happiness you'll know, and a light upon your path. Conversely, to FAIL in this, will be the GREATEST DISASTER you will ever have, both here and hereafter.

Change Is Good In God's Kingdom

Yesterday was the first day that it felt like fall, and it was windy and cold. I wasn't prepared for the change, so I didn't wear stockings with my pants, and my legs were cold. I had enjoyed the mild weather so much that I had not realized how much the weather had changed until I went outside. What a difference a day can make.

Lately, you may have noticed that changes are happening in the world on a daily basis, and these changes are making people think fearful thoughts. Change can be a positive experience, but the changes that are being seen these days cannot be considered in a positive way.

While the world becomes a more negative place, we need to focus on the positive things of life. We need to focus on Our Savior, Jesus Christ, for He knew that these times would come, and He is not surprised about what is going on in the world today. We need to make sure we are in fellowship with Him, so when we see the strange things happening all around us, we can be at peace, knowing that God will provide for us and protect us, and that His will for our lives is for the best. We can help other people see the truth of the signs of the times, when they finally realize that there has to be something better than what the world has to offer.

We cannot help others if we don't know what is going on ourselves; it is time to focus on God and to read the word of God, for you cannot prepare for His return if you don't know what the sign of these times mean. As born again believers, it is our obligation to find out as much as we can about what it means to be a Christian in these last days and how we are to live and how to interact with others. We are the only image of Christ that they may ever see so we need to know how God wants us to behave, and that starts with allowing the love of christ to overflow from our hearts.

Allow the Lord to change your heart and mind, so that expressing His love will become easier with each passing day. Don't worry about what you see happening on a daily basis, for His will and plans for this world will come to pass; we must be patient and focus on His love and mercy. He will not allow any of His little ones to perish.

Pray for peace in your heart and for understanding and wisdom, so that you can interpret the signs of the times correctly.

In Order To Love You Must Be Bold

I'm just fully realizing this right now, but in order to love others, you must be bold. You must decide to take action, to express your heart in loving ways, to nurture another person without expecting anything in return. It is always an honor and a pleasure to feel God's love and affection for me in my heart, to know that He cares, will always care about me. I didn't have to do anything special to receive His love. I did not have to follow any rules or traditions, I didn't have to do three 'good deeds' a day so that He would continue to love me. I didn't have to go on some big, glorious quest to find a lost treasure or to slay a dragon; I couldn't have done that without Him anyway.

All I did was decide to believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, and declare to myself and to the world that He is my personal Lord and Savior, and that I will follow Him all the days of my life. I know that I love Him and I trust Him; it is my faith that keeps me in His presence and my conviction to keep on living as a born again believer despite the consequences or the odds. I have never regretted that decision, and as I grow stronger in my faith, I find that His love permeates my heart and everything thing that I do. It is not easy to love those whom you choose to love without His grace and mercy. I think it is impossible to love your enemies at all without His transforming love; God specializes in the impossible. That is why we must learn to be bold in expressing love and in living our lives, for cowards are not appreciated in the kingdom of God:

Revelation 21 1,5-8

A New Heaven and a New Earth

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.......

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”


To Love Is To Be Bold

The definition of a 'coward' is a person who lacks the courage to do or endure dangerous or unpleasant things. We have all been cowardly at some point in our lives, sometimes for good reasons. It is never easy to put yourself out there and be bold if you have never known what it is like to be bold; some people are naturally bold, courageous, and natural encouragers, and some of us have to be taught, disciplined, and encouraged to be bold. The life of Jesus Christ is the perfect example on how to live boldly and proclaim love to others, being humbly surrendered to the voice of God, and His plans for your life.

Cowards cannot enter the kingdom of God, because they are not willing to pay the price for citizenship. I cannot call myself a naturally 'bold' person; when I think of how I was as a child and a teenager, I often remember what other people used to say about me, "she is so quiet, she doesn't say anything...." The truth is sometimes I would be afraid to speak up, but many times I just didn't have anything to say, I was just enjoying whatever activity or discussion that I was hearing. I liked to just ponder things quietly in my heart.

I made a decision a long time ago to believe in God and then to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, but that does not mean that I became 'bold' overnight. It is a process that the Lord has helped me through, to come face to face with my fears, and to allow Him to transform my heart so that I don't let those fears and anxieties stop me from doing His will for my life, or become a barrier from living in His presence. You cannot express love and fear at the same time, because fear will always try to dominate the situation and destroy whatever loving feelings you may have for your spouse, your children, your family, and for other people.

1 John 4:17-19

The Consummation of Love

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.

When I came to the conclusion that He would always love me no matter what I look like, or what I say, or what I do, that was a huge revelation for me, because I had never felt unconditional love before. I had at least one example from one person that showed me what I would consider as unconditional love, and I am grateful that person was in my life to show me what it was like, because then when the Lord showed that type of love to me, I knew that it was real and that God was real.

So, I have chosen to do what the Lord would have me to do, even when it is not a comfortable situation or place to be in, and let Him do the work or action through me, because I know that I could not do it without Him. I look forward to becoming even bolder for Him, so that I may express His love to others and to the world.

These is no one bolder in love than Jesus Christ, who allowed himself to be born a man and live among us; He expressed His love to His people, the lost sheep of Israel, preaching that the Kingdom of God has come, and showing the way to true peace, love, and righteousness. He died on the cross to save us all, to give us hope, so that we may worship in God's presence forevermore, and so we will not have to be ashamed of who we are and learn how to love ourselves and each other.

We cannot hope to be as bold as He was without His presence in our lives through the promptings of the Holy Spirit, who brings love, peace, and joy into our hearts. There are not enough proper words to express what it is like to live as child of the Most High God, and to know that He will never leave you or forsake you, and that no one can take you out of His hand; you cannot mess with a true child of God without His permission, so if you don't have His permission, be prepared to come face to face with the consequences of your actions. If this child of God has matured in Christ, be prepared to receive unmerited love and appreciation, which will hopefully change your mind about the Lord and His kingdom, and give you the courage, the boldness to seek Him out as the solution to your problems.

How Grace Changes Everything

Our life is hopeless without God. Because every person is born with a bent away from God, we continue to choose wrong paths throughout our days on earth. These unrighteous choices are known as sin, the penalty for which is death and eternal separation from God. No one is exempt from this biblical truth—and none of us can do anything to change the situation.

Enter God’s grace, His unmerited favor toward us. We can do nothing to earn it. He blesses us according to His goodness, apart from anything we’ve done.

Consider the apostle Paul, whose original intention was to persecute anyone claiming to follow Jesus. He played a significant role in the unspeakable violence aimed at Christians and, in his own words, was the “chief” of sinners (1 Tim. 1:15 KJV). Nothing he did deserved God’s love.

Divine grace led the Almighty to reach down and forgive this hateful zealot and blasphemer of Jesus’ name. God lovingly transformed him into a man who dedicated himself to sharing the gospel message. Paul’s life beautifully illustrates grace.

We are unable to do enough good deeds to earn our way to heaven. Salvation is possible only because by grace, Christ died on the cross. The one who took the punishment for our sin deserves all credit for our redemption.

Jesus’ death covered the sins of the entire world. There is no transgression too great for Him to forgive. We can add nothing to His act of atonement; all we can do is receive this free gift. If we trust in Christ as Savior, God will save us, making us His children forever.

Living Above Circumstances

While under house arrest, Paul wrote his letter to the Philippians. The apostle could receive visitors but couldn’t travel. Despite living in a home, Paul was more than likely chained to a Roman soldier 24 hours a day. Moreover, because he knew that a trial was years away, these were his living conditions for the foreseeable future—perhaps for the rest of his life.

Under such circumstances, Paul might have thought to ask the Lord to release him. After all, God had called him to preach, to disciple believers, and to reach the Gentiles. But he was stuck in Rome, unable to plant new churches or visit those whom he was nurturing by letter. Besides being unjust, the imprisonment was keeping him from important work. Surely, if anyone had a right to gripe, it was Paul, who had endured persecution, shipwreck, and beatings for the gospel. Yet he never once complained. His letter to the church at Philippi is filled with rejoicing, as focusing on God let him live above his circumstances (Phil. 4:8).

The more we talk and complain about a situation, the worse it looks, until the problem looms larger in our mind than our faith does. Conversely, carrying challenges straight to God keeps matters in perspective. The Lord is bigger than any hardship. On His strength, we rise above the difficulty.

Problems can look so big and unwieldy that they distort our perspective. God invites us to live above our circumstances by fastening our eyes on Him. The trials of this life shrink when compared to our loving, powerful Lord, who exercises His might in defense of His people.

The Coming War Between Good and Evil

"don't judge by what you see, judge by what you know about me....."

This morning, I was watching a video clip about a man who was saved by a firefighter 25 years ago. The man desired to meet this firefighter to thank him for his help. He had saved the clip from the newspaper about his rescue from a fire, and the picture of the man who saved him. He decided to search for him, and he found him. This hero came to his home, and he was welcomed with open arms and tears.

The firefighter always wondered what happened to the little boy he saved 25 years ago; he believed that God had a purpose for him, for his life. It was touching to see the two together again after so many years, and we learned that the boy he saved had a hard life, born to a drug addicted mother, and that he had been raised by a nice family.I thought, how much more could this man have done if he had not had to live with so many issues within his lifetime, but then the Lord said to my spirit, "don't judge by what you see, judge by what you know about me", and then I felt convicted.

This man who was saved by a God believing firefighter is I believe a child of God, destined to live in His presence forever, and God decreed that He be here, if only to give hope to other people that miracles can happen, and that anyone, like the firefighter, can be a hero. I could see that his adoptive family loved him, and that he was a positive influence with the people in his life. I should know by now that you can't underestimate the power of the ordinary person to make a difference in his or her environment; what the world believes is a successful life is not the same as how God views you and me. He knows what we have been through, and He is grateful that we are willing to live this life for Him, for His sake and for His glory.

The Lord doesn't care about what we have, how we look, what are heritage is, how many contacts that we have in the government or in the social circles; He already knows who we are, inside and out. There are no secrets that anyone can keep from the true Master of the Universe. He ordained you and me to become His children,His servants, His kings and priests in the land and in the world, and His only requirements are that we Believe in Him, Trust Him, Obey Him, and Love Him.

We don't have to be rich or 'perfect' because He doesn't care how much money we have in the bank, He provided all that we have anyway, and He knows we cannot be 'perfect'. He knows that we were born with a fallen human nature and that it would be impossible for any of us to be 'perfect' - that is why He send His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to die on the cross, so that by the shedding of His Blood we may be saved. God's greatest gift to mankind is the solution to all of the world's problems, and only He can transform our hearts and minds so that we may worship perfectly, through the promptings and fellowship of the Holy Spirit, which every born again believer received when they accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

God's purpose is to raise up a family of children that will love Him, worship Him, and live by His standards. He is aware that not everyone will be interested in living righteously, and that is why there is so much conflict and strife in the world. Those who want to live in love and peace are being dominated by those who want to live as they see fit and dominate everything and everyone else. Good vs evil, this world is the battlefield and the children of God live with this reality every day; some people choose to live as if our problems can be solved by politics, drugs, and social conditioning. The spiritual aspect of life is not really discussed in the mainstream because it cannot be defined or controlled like a scientific experiment. When a person is depressed, or mentally unstable, a doctor can give them a pill, which helps with the symptoms, but doesn't really solve the problem. That's because the problem is often a spiritual one, and you need a spiritual solution to solve a spiritual problem.

Good has been at war with evil right from the very start, even before the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, and this war is about to escalate to heights that cannot be believed even with the prophecies written in the Word of God, and all of the signs of the times that we live in. We must be careful to watch what is happening in our homes, our neighborhoods, in our country, and in the world. There will be many events that will happen that will be out of our control, but we have been given all of the resources to deal with these issues, in the form of Jesus Christ.

We must worship and fellowship with Him, pray for strength and guidance, allow ourselves to be led and comforted by the Holy Spirit, read and meditate on the Word of God on a daily basis, and give our whole heart and minds to God, so that we may live as His ambassadors to the world; if they can see the light of Christ in our eyes, they will begin to wonder what we have that they don't have and they may start to look at life with new insight, and begin to desire something more than what this world can give them.

The road to true freedom comes from accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and true peace and happiness on planet earth will only come when evil is banished and destroyed forever. We must be patient while the process of the purging begins, and lean on Him for peace, guidance, and fulfillment. He will protect His little ones, His children in the coming days, but we must be ready to receive everything that He will give us to fight and be conscious of everything that He will do to save us; don't allow yourself to be confused about the real issues, which are preparing yourself for the second coming of Jesus Christ.

Focus on His agenda, and not your own; God is interested in transforming our hearts and minds so that we live like the true disciples of Jesus. Don't allow yourself to be distracted by the pursuit of money and wealth, because these things will perish very soon, and money cannot save you, only Jesus can bring you peace, joy, and true happiness.

Trust in the Lord, and in His provision and grace, and He will comfort you in the coming days; I must admit that what I have seen happening in the world has saddened me at times, but when I feel His reassurance and love, and when I read the word, I know that we have already won and that the devil and his followers will be destroyed. I know that God will restore everything that was lost because of hatred, greed, and pride, and that I will live with Him in His presence forever and ever.

I am encouraged, He fills me with His love, and I am overjoyed. So, when you feel discouraged about what is going on in your life and in the world, worship at His altar, praise His Holy Name, and love Him with all your heart, and you will be encouraged and you will be amazed at the miracle of being happy, even in the most unbearable circumstances. He is love, and love will not be denied!

The Treaty of Peace

Our Lord wants to fellowship with us; He is looking for followers and believers, people who are willing to listen to His words of love and compassion, who are interested in living in peace, who want something more than what this world's 'wisdom' can provide. He has shown His love to humanity by the gift of life, a beautiful world to live in, food, shelter, and the honor of having a free will; we make choices that impact every day of our lives, but the choice that really matters, is the one where we choose to live for God or for ourselves.

That choice determines our future, and it is the most important choice we will ever have to make. Many people choose to believe they don't have to make this choice, or they ignore the problems of the world, believing that someone else will come along and fix everything for them, but time is running out. We no longer have the luxury of 'passing the buck' to the next person, or to the next generation, for the sins of the pasts are finally catching up to this generation, the generation I believe that will see second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We have an obligation to live as well as any christian can live in this world, to show kindness and consideration to everyone we meet, to show the love of Christ that is expressed from our hearts, and to offer the treaty of peace, the word of God, and the salvation that only comes from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

While everyone is trying so desperately to change the world by politics and wishful thinking, our job is to be good citizens and live out our lives as Christ's disciples. While other people are marching in the streets provoking violence and hate, we need to be in prayer for ourselves, our neighborhoods and our countries.We need to call upon the Lord for courage and strength, to fight the good fight against the evil forces of this world, the real enemy, the devil and his forces, who are bringing humanity and this world ultimately to destruction.

The first thing we must do, is to ask the Lord what He would want us to do in our own personal situations, and how we can help in our local communities; we need to pray for our country and for the world. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and ask that His will be done in the earth and not our own. We know that darker times are ahead of us; the evil doers must be judged, and the world will pay the price for their rebellion. So, now is the time to seek His face diligently and urgently, for all of the world's problems can only be solved in the providence, peace, and the love of Jesus Christ.

Once you have received the answer to your prayers, please don't ignore it or be afraid to do what He has asked you to do; He will give you the power to do whatever He has planned for your life. We can't do anything for ourselves without Him, so love Him, obey Him, and give Him reign over your life.

Testimony of Jesus Christ

I gave my life to Jesus on the 17th day of August 1987. My daughter was barely nine months old. It has never escaped my notice that the timing of my daughter's physical birth ran in sync with my own spiritual birth by the Spirit of God.

I was married to a man from a family of generations of Christians, although he never mentioned this fact to me. I cannot judge whether the members of this family or not gave their life to the LORD Jesus Christ, only He knows this. My husband however was a God-hater and blasphemer of grand proportions and when I announced that I gave my life to Jesus Christ all hell broke loose in my home and satan often manifested in my husband many times. There were many times the LORD gave me such supernatural strength spiritually which amazed me because in and of myself I had none.

I feared my husband very much, in fact I feared all men, although at this point in my life I had no idea the extent of my abuse as a child. My husband was a professional business man and this showed keenly on his outward appearance, but on the inside, which God allowed me to see he was full of wickedness. This wickedness and the depths of it the LORD in his graciousness to me kept it from me for many decades, such is the power of God being able to keep you in the most impossible of situations.

By this man, then my husband, the father of my child, he would verbally abuse me. The cruelty of his words were venomous and reduced me, in the end, to a nervous wreck. My whole body would shake and physical manifestations would appear on my face as it would twitch constantly.

I never refused my husband in bed until the very night I decided, having prayed to the LORD what to do, to separate from him. This was to get some respite and to think things through. It was never my intention to divorce him at all, but needless to say I parted for eighteen months and then returned at the instruction of my church that I shouldn't have left my husband. I returned to face more abuse and worse. God in his mercy to me allowed me to leave when my husband was having an affair, in fact he wanted his new lover to come and live with us! My reply being no, didn't stop him doing what he always wanted.

On the night before I left him the first time I was soaking in a red-hot bath. This was the norm for me to do this and later through the recovery of many memories ten years later I remembered as part of discipline to do what my abusers wanted I was thrown into scalding water. I was used to the pain and it was at this point in emotional and spiritual pain I called out to the LORD asking Him what should I do. I knew my husband didn't love me, though occasionally when he had a good day he would tell me he loved me. His actions though together with his words revealed his scathing contempt and disgust towards me, which left me in no doubt he was a liar, but worse too was the fact I believed him.

As I was praying in the bath that night I heard the LORD's voice really clearly. It was still and calm and words uttered to me were 'Go to your Mother'. I knew without a doubt this was from the LORD. But I was also puzzled for many years why He said 'mother', then nearly three decades later, I would read a Christian testimony of an abused woman like me. Finally the penny dropped about my Mother and how in truth she was just my biological mother who palmed me off to strangers for the first five years of my life. Then I lived with her from five to ten years old but left with strangers where most of my abuse took place.

Both my husband and mother hated each other and looking back I could see they were both similar in their characters, attitude and their need to control me. I was always piggy-in-the-middle. I was of the disposition and still am to some extent, passive, fearful and timid, although I thank God He is delivering me of ALL my fears, one step at a time. My daughter at this point was nearly two years old and I can see now just how much Jesus gave me strength to cope with all I had to cope with. It wasn't just about the domestic side of the situation but God revealed to me back in 2013 that my husband was thoroughly wicked. In fact the LORD said he was Wickedness with a capital 'W'. This I sensed was to do with something he had done which my husband kept a secret from me and somewhere along the line he made some kind of foolish pact with the devil. Yet, he maintained that neither existed.

Furthermore, my domestic life was also dominated with my mother who I later learned, although abused herself, was a High Priestess in a London coven in her teen years. This I would realize going to live with my mother over the next eighteen months and God bringing the beginnings of who my mother really was although at this point the LORD hid the true extent of my abuse until I was stronger. This came about when I finally left my mother back in 2000, after taking care of her for many years and through much sickness, which I still believe today was because of her lack of confession to Jesus.

Jesus set me free from her. This is a long story and I'm just sharing a skeleton outline, such was the depravity of my mother on many levels of cruelty. It was through all these devastating accounts of my life that Jesus would reveal Himself to me in the most powerful, earth shattering way through seven visitations. I have also had visitations through dreams where Jesus cast out a demon connected with a bad abusive relationship with a man who was a warlock. This too I didn't discover until I was well away from him. Such is the love of Jesus and His power alone to set you free.

I know my story has to be written and it has taken years to reach this point as my healing with Jesus has been very deep. I am writing this because Jesus has asked me to write it, commanded me to write it such is His love, because the time is short and many need to know the true reality of Christ and that He truly is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Jesus did indeed rise from the dead because I have walked and talked with Him back in 1990, 2000, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2013. He encouraged me to keep going through ten years of deep depression. It is not that I shy away from this task but I get very fearful and overwhelmed with the shame of what took place as a child which affected so many bad choices growing up.

Only Jesus could tell me the truth of my life and such was the shock I had a major life threatening break-down and then continued for years to try to take my own life as it was so unbearable.

I faced death so many times as a young child and saw also Alice a little girl who was like a sister to me, under five, being raped and beaten literally to death. The pain has been so much to bear, too much so at times, that I did not want to live but just wanted to go to heaven to be with her. But of course God had other ideas and I thank Him every day I am alive and here to tell of the wonderful love of Jesus and write for Him.

I was always doubting, just like Thomas in the bible. Every time I used to read about Thomas it would bring memories of a little boy I knew, again around the age of five. He too was part of the pedophile ring I was abused in. I never knew what happened to Thomas. Only yesterday I heard a child cry and it upset me so much as I can still remember all the tears, screams of terror of the children being hurt. For me, like today, I am still numb about the whole thing and I write because I cannot speak about it without running off.

I thank God for His patience with me. So many never had the patience with me or towards me. I cannot bear any pressure at all and strangely enough my daughter is the same. On the one hand I can be very quick and this is because I had to think quick about how to get out of something.

Once when I was a waitress, some of the others I worked with would say, 'Don't try to get ahead of Jacky, she is ten steps ahead of you'. I laughed at the truth of this, but they never knew why and of course many who have been abused do not speak about it, even today.

Yet, God has so much patience for me, He listens all the time to my strange prayers which wouldn't fit into any prayer-book as I have to come as a child. I am very childish with God, totally, I don't know any other way. By the experts I have had numerous diagnosis of my mental condition from border-line, DD, P.T.S.D. They finally settled on the latter one as they still do not know what to make of me. Well I thank God again, because He takes the weak, those whom the world rejects, if this wasn't the case I would have no champion on my side at all!

Since Jesus is the Author of my life I am entrusting my story to Him and how to write it. It is foul, ugly and to many it is the stuff of nightmares. It is filthy and the perversions of man do not go overlooked by God but when these extend to small children who are powerless then I believe totally God is right there. I even saw at the height of my abuse one particular night the cross of Jesus Christ shining down from heaven and came right in the attic where I was being abused. He was crying, I was crying and wanted to die. I was five years of age. So as painful as it is I want to share the love of Jesus Christ. He is not some fable or story among fairy tales. If there is anyone who could fly it is Jesus and He did rise up into the heavens in full view of His disciples.

So fifteen years on after my break-down and years in hospital, even up until last November, a year ago my story needs to be told that through pain and suffering which belongs to this earth and this life Jesus is right there until He takes me Home to heaven, my real home. I've never had a home, I've moved over fifty times in my life and those are what I remember!

Yet, now I am in Christ Jesus, I am a new creature the old has gone and the new has come. My life is totally for Jesus Christ. I own nothing and live in a very cheap, thank the LORD, bed sit where I write, live with my dog, live around the corner from my only daughter. I recently lost all of my disability money, I have to pay for the treatment for my dog which is costly and God has never failed me, not ever for Jesus asks us to walk by faith and not by sight. It is easy to trust when you have a safety net of friends and finances but it is a different when you have only the LORD to lean upon. I have been brought to this point in stages over the last twenty years. As hard as it is at times I would have it no other way for when God brings things out of nothing all I can do is praise Him still!

Jesus continues to write-through me as He has appointed me a watchman and prophet and verified this calling through visitations in dreams and visions. Only this week-end He spoke to me about writing, just writing, not speaking, emphasizing the written word.

It is not easy following Jesus but it makes this life much more secure knowing He truly is real, just as heaven and hell are real because Jesus spoke about them.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and only through Him can you know God the Father who lovingly, patiently waits for you to turn to Him. The Holy Bible is true, ALL of it and Jesus is everything and more said about Him in this Holy Bible, the Word of God.

I pray you will give you life to Jesus Christ today, don't let anyone stop you, don't let them cause you to doubt or shrink back from this glorious truth.

Truly as the thief on the cross was given eternal life at the end of his physical life, Jesus said 'Truly you will be with me in Paradise Today'. You will never know when your life will end, it ends for everyone, so turn I pray.

Jesus loves you and does not want anyone to perish and go to hell. Don't believe me, check it out for yourself, shout or call out to God yourself. Go to Him because He is the One who is Perfect and made you and loves you just as you are, more than you will ever know.

Angels from the Hood

Cruising along at forty miles an hour, my heart dropped when the engine quit without warning. The fuel gauge showed a quarter tank. Panic set in as I helplessly coasted.

Oh NO, Lord, not here, not now!

I wrestled with the steering wheel and maneuvered the small car to the side of the road and felt the urge to cry as it slowed to a stop. I turned the key to the off position and waited. After a long, deep breath, I tried the engine, but no response, not a single click.

The noonday sun streamed through the windshield as I sat wondering what to do. I climbed out of my car and looked both ways. Not a vehicle in sight. My heart sank as I scanned the area to see nothing but open fields of dirt and weeds in every direction. It was the outer edge of town where the only signs of development were the widening of the country road and cement sidewalks.

Dejected, I folded my arms and slumped back against the hot, dusty car and stared down the street. Then I saw them: two figures in the distance, trudging along the sidewalk on the other side of the road.

Where did they come from?.

They appeared menacing as they lurched along side-by-side getting closer by the second: two male youths wearing sagging pants and black stocking caps pulled low on their foreheads.

I watched them with uneasiness.

I could see they spotted me. When they glanced at each other my heart raced into overdrive.

Again, I looked both ways, and was horrified to discover still no cars to be seen.

It seemed I was now their focus and topic of discussion. Repeatedly, they looked at me, and then back at each other as they walked, nodding their heads as if in agreement about something.

Adrenaline shot through me when they stopped directly across the road, faced me and looked both ways. I felt like trapped prey, and could only hope they wouldn't attack in broad daylight.

My hopes were dashed when they began running toward me with giant strides , across the first lane, the second lane ...

In my heart I cried, Lord what do I do?

My imagination leaped with panic. I'll scream, I'll kick, I'll wave my arms and pretend I know Judo!

I held my breath as they stopped in front of me about ten feet away. One of them, a lanky boy not much taller than I am, placed his hands on his waist and leaned on one hip. Peering out from beneath his cap, he cocked his head and asked, "Hey lady, you want us to fix your car?"

I stared in amazement and stuttered, "Ah... well... yeah... you can help me?"

With an air of gallantry, the boy replied, "Sure. Pop the hood," then started for the front of the car as the other boy, a little taller, stood by like a faithful assistant.

Astonished by the sudden turn of events, I got into my car and pulled the latch. The boy lifted the hood and then disappeared behind it.

A few seconds passed, and then he called out. "OK, try it now." His voice brimmed with confidence.

I turned the key, and the motor sprang to life without hesitation.

I emerged from the car and blurted out, "Wow, I can't believe you fixed it so fast. Thank you."

"No problem, you're welcome," the boy said nonchalantly and dropped the hood closed. They stepped past me, around the car, and up onto the sidewalk.

"Thank you so much," I repeated, my mind still reeling and my mouth still babbling, "I can't believe you fixed it."

They both looked back over their shoulders at me and gave an affirmative chin-up gesture, then continued down the street. As I watched them go, I wondered where they were going...down the street to nowhere?

Then I pondered what is written about angels. Hebrews 1:14: "Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?"

Angels from the hood I quipped.

As I drove away from my adventure, I couldn't help but reflect on the comical twist in the way God answered my fearful prayers that day through two mysterious travelers. They were a frightful sight who had appeared out of nowhere, at just the right time, and with the perfect solution to my problem.

Just as quickly as they came, they were gone, somewhere on the outer edge of town. I believe that's precisely what angels would do.

The Eve Of Time

Matthew 24:36-44

The Day and Hour Unknown

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."


As I think about what has happened in this world this past year, I am remembering the song, sign of the times, by Prince. He talked about everything that was going on in the world at that time, and how it should have been a wake up call to us all. I realize that song is still relevant, because the same things are happening today, with some more unbelievable things added to the mix: war, crime, disease, illicit drug use, poverty, famine; now add sex trafficking and slavery, earthquakes and tsunamis, monster storms, increased hatred and apostasy, signs in the heavens, 'stars' (meteorites) falling from the sky, near misses from visiting asteroids, strange weather patterns and unusual occurrences around the world. If these are not the signs of the times that we live in, then it is certainly a very realistic simulation.

We are in the eve of times, the times prophesied in the bible by God's servants, the prophets, and also from Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He told us that we must vigilant and be like watchmen ourselves, to interpret the times that we live in. He told us ahead of time what the world would be like at the end, so that His people, His children, would not be in the dark and miss the time of His visitation. "As in the days of Noah......"

When the world faced total destruction in the past, the Lord was gracious to warn the wicked people living in the land that the Lord would punish them and destroy them, but if they repented and sought His face, His presence in their lives, that He would save all those who were willing to be saved. Now, all the righteous people had already died and disappeared from the face of the earth, all except Noah and his family. He had His servant, Noah preach for over a hundred years to the people that passed by, as He built the ark with his sons, and prepared for the flood, yet no one would listen. They laughed at Him and rebuked Him, and they kept on doing what they wanted to do because it gave them pleasure, it made them feel important, and they believed they were in charge of their own destinies.

Yes, the devil had deceived them completely, and so they kept on doing evil; war, crime, fornication and adultery, hatred of each other, stealing from each other, worshiping themselves and false gods; selfishness was rampant, and there was very little love lost between them. So, when the ark was completed, they marveled that these 8 people in all the world would believe in such a fairy tale: water from the sky that will flood the earth? Nothing had ever happened this way before and they did not believe it would happen at all.

But then, Noah and his family moved into the ark, and then, something truly strange started to happen. All types of birds came from the sky, and all types of animals walked from the plains and into the ark. As far as the witnesses could tell, Noah did not invoke a spell to charm these animals, they just came out of their own free will. What was even stranger is that while some of the animals got into the ark, some waited outside and surrounded the ark, as if to protect it.

Then, something strange and wondrous happened again, as the doors of the ark started to close themselves. Some of the people watching, I imagine, got a strange feeling in the pit of their stomachs at this scene; if they did feel something, it wasn't enough to get them to believe in this judgment of God or in the flood.

It was only when the clouds began to form and the sky opened up and rain came down by the buckets full, and the earth began to move with gushing waters that quickly flooded the plains and their homes, did they begin to fear and realize the truth, but it was already too late.

I am urging everyone to choose to see the world as the Lord sees it; this world needs a cleansing and a new start. The enemy of us all, satan, must be stopped and He and all of his followers must be defeated. True peace and love cannot rule in the earth until evil and the corruption that evil brings is destroyed. We live in a battleground, between the forces of good and evil, and I am happy to say that good won the war 2000 years ago when Our Lord Savior, Jesus Christ died on the cross. He was the answer to all of humanity's problem, our fallen human nature.

His gift of salvation is freely given to everyone who will receive it, and He will never turn away even the least of those seeking His face. Once everyone of His children are found and delivered into His arms, then He will deal with the devil and his followers, those who would reject the sovereignty of the Lord Jesus Christ over their lives.

He will deliver His people from the judgment that is coming upon the earth, by taking them to a place of safety and refuge while He puts the devil until His heel, and He will wait patiently for the last ones, the ones that come to Christ during the time of tribulation, the time of sorrow and testing, as expressed in the book of revelation. Then, He will unleash His full wrath upon the unbelievers and haters, and He will bring about a new kingdom on the earth, where love, compassion, and wisdom will abound in peace and joy.

Please, don't try to dismiss the signs of the times, don't reject the word of God and His Holy Spirit, as He knocks on the door of your heart. You know that strange feeling at the bottom of your stomach? That is His warning, He is asking you to stop believing in the devil's lies, and begin to seek the truth about life, about yourself, about God. Don't let the 'powers that be' that strut themselves about on the earth deceive you into believing that God and Jesus Christ are just myths, fairy tales to tell to people when you want them to be 'good'. You cannot be 'good' enough to escape the judgment that is soon coming. Every bad thought or action you have ever had or done will be accounted for by God, and if you are not covered by the Blood of the Lamb, if your name is not listed in the Book of Life, you will not be saved from eternal judgement.

Please listen to Him calling you from His heart, and let His grace and mercy cover your sins, your heartaches, your fears and anxieties, your bitterness, your selfishness. You have to understand that there is no one on the earth worthy to receive His goodness; we are all sinners and we all deserve the second death into the lake of fire, but Jesus loves us so much, that He sacrificed himself so that we can spend eternity with Him, in love, in peace, in happiness, in His perfect image of ourselves.

Harden not your heart, and begin to seek His face, ask Him to prove himself to you; He can handle any challenge that you bring to him. Don't doubt that He will answer you, so when He does, believe the answer that He provides, and surrender your life to Him.

Prayer of Salvation

Lord,

I repent for trying to be master of my own life. I change my mind about who I want to be in charge of my life. I turn from my useless and unproductive thoughts that I am the center of my universe and choose to believe in the living God who created everything, including me (Acts 14:15). I have lived without a purpose but now I will live to hear and obey You, God (Jn. 5:19, 20,30).

I confess with my lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I believe that God so loved the world He sent His only Son Jesus to shed His blood to wash away the barrier of sin (Jn. 3:16)

I receive You, Jesus as MY Lord and Savior (Jn. 1:11,12).

I welcome You, Holy Spirit, into my life to rescue and empower me and to restore me to intimacy with my heavenly Father (Acts 2:38).


If you just confessed this prayer, you are saved! I welcome you into the family my (brother/sister) I pray for peace, joy, and happiness in your life as you allow the Lord to love you and bless you and give you assurance of everlasting life with Him forever and ever......PRAISE GOD!

May the Lord keep you and Bless you this day....AMEN

Listen To Your Heart

It is amazing to me how much the world can change in just three days. We just had a major election in America this week; we voted for the next president elect and other regional offices, and now that the republican party has won the white house and the senate, everyone is in an uproar.

The republicans I assume are happy, even though they must know by now that they could not have won this election without divine intervention, as their own party was in a shambles; that was the reason that Trump was able to win the nomination in the first place. Yes, I believe they are pleasantly surprised.

The democrats are sorely disappointed, because they had this vision of what a woman, and a Clinton in the white house would mean for them; if she would have been elected, it would have continued the trek the country was taking into more chaos and apostasy. The idealists were willing to ignore Her problems in the past, and let her continue to rule the country as she saw fit.

Now that our system of democracy was has worked as it was designed to do, there are protests all around the country, people expressing their hate and rage through property damage and insurrections. California is working on leaving the union, and many people dream of moving to Canada. This is the true state of our country.

I remember voting in many elections in the past, and having to deal with presidents I did not elect, and making do with what was mandated by the majority in this country, and I would never have thought of hurting other people or destroying their property just because I didn't get my own way - Welcome To The End Times On Planet Earth.

Over three months ago, the Lord told me to start this blog, to write about what was in my heart, to share what I have learned as He discipled me in love, faith, patience, and courage. In love, because I did not know how to love like He loves, because I had never experienced love like He gives to me every day, because I needed to know how to love others, even when they could not love me, or they rejected me.

In faith, because I had to learn how to get rid of the deep seated fears that were embedded deep within my heart and soul, to learn how to trust in Him; the years He invested in helping me with my worries and anxieties, so that I would look to Him for my rest and peace.

In patience, because I had told Him many years ago that I would follow Him and that He could do whatever was necessary to make me a better person and christian, and how that meant I would have to obey Him, and trust Him in whatever situation I was in; He was there with me, helping me, guiding me, and comforting me.

In courage, because living the life of a christian in this world is not easy, and when people and circumstances tried to break me down, I learned to seek His face and worship in His presence, and be filled with joy and happiness, even if the circumstances that I found myself in were not the ones I would have chosen for myself.

What did Paul say we should do in every situation that we find ourselves in?....

Philippians 4:10-13

I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

When I chose to believe in Jesus Christ and make Him my Lord and Savior, I chose to live according to the precepts found in the bible, and to follow His lead by the promptings of the Holy Spirit. That also means following my heart in the most difficult of situations, and doing things that I may not like or want, because I know that He is prompting me to do so, and that He sees the bigger picture. He knows what will happen to me and He knows what is best for me. In the times we live in, we must be content with what the Lord tells us to do, and we will have to come out of our own comfort zones, and start proclaiming the word of God to our friends, neighbors, and coworkers, for we are definitely, officially in the last days, and the world needs to know about Jesus Christ.

There is now a Jewish rabbi who is calling upon Trump to help the Jewish people build the third Jewish temple in Jerusalem, and many christian commentators are depicting Trump as the modern day Cyrus, who was a Persian King in the old testament, that was appointed by God to release the Jewish people from captivity, so that they could return to Jerusalem and build the second Jewish temple. Many people have said in the past that God does not exist, and that even if He did exist, that He does not care about humanity, and that He has never interfered in our affairs. The truth is that God has always been here, right from the start, leading His little ones, His children in the way they should go, even when they did not want Him in their lives. He will not allow this world to be destroyed utterly by His enemy, the devil and the devil's followers, those who choose to reject the word of God, and God's legitimate authority over His creation and over the human race

If you are prompted by the Holy Spirit to do something you wouldn't ordinarily do, don't fight it, just tell the Lord how you feel about the situation, and then ask Him to give you the strength and courage to obey Him and follow His lead, for we are His children and His servants in the world, and He wants us to give of ourselves, and to share His message of love. He will give you the courage to face the people in the world who will ignore you, or persecute you. His peace will come upon you, and you will find rest in His presence, so keep on living, keep on praying, and keep on sharing your testimony to everyone you meet.

Walking Into Briers

Hebrews 6:8 (KJV) "But which beareth thorns and briers is rejected and is nigh unto being cursed, whose end is to be burned."

Picture yourself on a crisp fall day walking through a calm forest. You are strolling along, enjoying the landscape. You feel the cool breeze on your face as you enjoy the sound of the wind in the trees. All of the sudden, you feel pain on your leg.

You look down and see a single strain of blood roll down your ankle. Distracted by the forest's beauty, you walked into a brier patch. The sting of the cuts makes you more aware of your surroundings and you try to avoid more briers along the trail. You continue your walk but now are more vigilant to avoid another painful encounter.

There are situations in life that cause us pain. Knowing this, sometimes we continuously walk back into these circumstances. Just like those briers cut into our skin, harmful people and situations cut into the joy of our lives. God gave us free will. When we know a situation or a person causes us pain and enter it repeatedly, we are choosing to be injured again.

Like avoiding briers on the forest trail, we have to remove ourselves from bad influences. There are times where we cannot escape persecution, but there are also times where we can choose those who we allow to affect our hearts. We can make the conscious choice to stop allowing ourselves to walk back into brier patches.

Proverbs 9:6 (KJV) "Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding."

God's word teaches us to cling to those influences that are godly and edifying and forsake those who are gossiping and negative. Let us go in the way of understanding and avoid the briers in our lives.

Inherit the Promises Through Love

Hebrews 6:12
...through faith and patience I
inherit the promises.

When speaking of the promises of God, you must realize that God has promised great blessings and unmerited favor for His children; you just have to step into what God has already provided. We can't always see what God is doing in our lives; we become aware that our circumstances have changed, and we get the answer to our prayer, but that does not mean that we understand how the Lord changes those people and circumstances. The phrase "the Lord works in mysterious ways" highlights our limited understanding of how things actually work in our universe.

One of the most strange and wonderful concepts that works perfectly is the concept of love. I am not talking about the world's definition of love, but God's perfect form of love, a selfless, self sacrificing love that does not focus upon itself, but upon the object of it's desire. It was this intense, passionate love that was expressed by Jesus Christ on the cross, who died for out sins, so that we may inherit the promises of salvation and fellowship with God forevermore.

How we view the world and the people around us is key to how we perceive love and it's greatest expression. If you believe in love and its power, you will have a more positive viewpoint of the world and you will not be afraid to express that love to others. If you have doubts about love, you will tend to have a more negative viewpoint, and will be cautious about opening up to others. Expressing love makes your environment more peaceful, joyful, and brings contentment.

How does one inherit the promises of God through love? By practicing love.


First, you must make the decision that you believe in love and that you are willing to give love. More Love is produced by giving love to others; it is an act of courage and faith to express that love. When you make the decision to believe in God and His son, Jesus Christ, you will be blessed with love and fellowship forever in the Lord's presence; He will express His love to you by being your Father, your friend, and your comforter. He will guide you into a deeper understanding of yourself, the world, His love, and His character.

God is love, so everything that the Lord does is an expression of His love, whether He fills you with His Holy Spirit for guidance and comfort, or gives you a strong urge to read His word, when He fills you with joy when you worship Him in praise and prayer, when he conforms your heart and mind to the mind and character of Jesus Christ, when He allows you to go through a testing, an issue of life, and He gives you the strength to endure; God has everything, all circumstances, in His hand, His plans are always the best for your life. Everything that you will go through under His care will bring out the best in you; a faith not tested isn't real faith at all.

So, listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit when you are urged to do something outside of your comfort zone, and express your love for God, for yourself, and others by sharing whatever you have as an expression of that love, through comfort, care, word, and deed. We all have something unique to share with the world, because God is generous in giving to His children whatever they need to fulfill His plans for their lives. Ask the Lord what He would like you to do to express His love to others, and He will give you a great dream, one that you would have never dreamed for yourself. Give Him the benefit of the doubt; He knows you better than anyone else, so He knows what you are capable of doing.

Thank you Lord, for your grace and mercy, and your love, expressed in the passion and crucifixion of Jesus Christ, and for loving us so much that you will literally give us, your children, the whole world as a love gift from your own heart. I Love You, My Sweet Lord. There Is No One Like You!!!
