Lord, we love you, with all of our heart,
there is no other like you,
what other 'gods' have cared about humanity
like you, who has loved us so passionately
like your son, Jesus Christ?
You gave us your son, Jesus Christ,
as an expression of your love,
as the solution to our losing battle with sin,
as your represntative in the earth,
who taught us how to live, and how to love,
who gave His life for us,
to facilitate your gift of salvation to us all;
what greater gift could we ask for,
what greater love could we receive?
Lord, as we celebrate this Christmas Eve,
I pray that everyone who loves you will
celebrate your gift of life with
all our their hearts and souls,
that a spirit of love and gratitude
penetrate everywhere, in our homes
and neighborhoods, and everywhere
where there is a person who honors your name.
Thank you Lord, for the greatest gift that
was ever given to mankind, your son, Jesus Christ
I pray for peace and joy for everyone that loves
you, and a revelation of the meaning of this season
for those who do not.
