You Will Prosper In All That You Do

“Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked…but they delight
in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night…they prosper in ALL they do.”
Psalm 1:1-3 (NLT), personalized

As christians, it is our right to believe in a bright future; things are not going well for the world as a whole right now, but we can persevere in the knowledge that everything that we are going through will not compare to the riches of love, redemption, peace and joy that will soon follow once Our Lord comes back again to rule the world righteously.

If you put your trust in the Lord, and learn to rely on His guidance and His goodness, you will find the strength to live and to love. Whatever the Lord has put in your heart to do in this life, whatever your God given purpose is, He will give you what you need to accomplish that purpose, and you will be successful.

Now the world's view of success is totally different from God's point of view: If you have money, houses, cars, and power, you are considered successful. The Lord sees everything you do as successful, if you obey His will for your life. Living your life for Christ does not always mean lots of money and possessions; it may mean safety and security, the ability to pay your bills and have a roof over your head, joy and peace in your heart.

Being successful in Christ means loving Him, and trusting Him, obeying His Word and listening to His will for your life. If you have need of something, ask Him and He will provide it; if you are not sure what your purpose is in the kingdom of God, ask Him and when you receive your answer, just obey. Many christians have been called to be missionaries, or evangelists, or pastors; or He may call to stay at your job and be a light to the people that you work with. When you seek His will for your life, He will give you everything you need to succeed, and when you succeed you will prosper.

Oh, and by the way, people have found that when they listen to the Holy Spirit, and do what the Lord asked them to do, that the Lord 'blessed them and enlarged their territory, and protected them from evil' (1 Chronicles 4:9-10). The Lord has no problem with giving you money and possessions; it will happen on God's timetable and not yours, when He knows you are mature enough spiritually to handle it.

Matthew chapter 19:26-30

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?”

Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first."

So whoever you are, whatever you do, whatever pay grade you aspire to, nothing can compare to being and living under God's grace; His love and mercy covers a whole list of hurts and grievances, and His healing touch will wash away the memory of your tears. If you do not know what it means to be in His presence or to abide in His grace, let me encourage you to open your heart and He will find you right where you are living.

Repeat This Prayer:

Prayer of Salvation

Lord,

I repent for trying to be master of my own life. I change my mind about who I want to be in charge of my life. I turn from my useless and unproductive thoughts that I am the center of my universe and choose to believe in the living God who created everything, including me (Acts 14:15). I have lived without a purpose but now I will live to hear and obey You, God (Jn. 5:19, 20,30).

I confess with my lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I believe that God so loved the world He sent His only Son Jesus to shed His blood to wash away the barrier of sin (Jn. 3:16)

I receive You, Jesus as MY Lord and Savior (Jn. 1:11,12).

I welcome You, Holy Spirit, into my life to rescue and empower me and to restore me to intimacy with my heavenly Father (Acts 2:38).

If you just confessed this prayer, you are saved! I welcome you into the family my (brother/sister) I pray for peace, joy, and happiness in your life as you allow the Lord to love you and bless you and give you assurance of everlasting life with Him forever and ever......PRAISE GOD!

May the Lord keep you and Bless you this day....Amen
