What Does God Think About You

Do you know what God thinks about humanity? He sees us as His children; He is our Father, and we are his children. He gave us minds to think with, to discover, and to make decisions based upon those thoughts. The greatest gift He ever gave us was free will to choose to live and abide in Him, or to go our own way. So, imagine how disappointed and hurt He was when his first human children, adam and eve, decided to go their own way.

Genesis Ch3 1-7

Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made.
He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say,
‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not
touch it, or you will die.’”

“You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat
from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye,
and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her
husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened,
and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings
for themselves.

The first father and mother, adam and eve, made a decision to go their own way; granted, it was based upon faulty and deceptive knowledge, but the problem was not the knowledge they received from the serpent, it was that they decided to reject the knowledge that had already been given from the Lord, their true Father and Mentor.

Genesis Ch2 15-17

The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.
And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;
but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it
you will certainly die.”

They had been warned of the consquences of choosing to go their own way. They didn't really know why it would be a bad decision to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and they did know how they would die as a result. As the first people in existence on planet earth, they were innocent, but not perfect.

Let's look at this from a parent's point of view; Have you ever had the priviledge of raising a child? Then, you know raising children has it's up's and down's, and I was told it can be an amazing experience, watching a little baby grow into a full grown adult, watching their first steps, saying their first words, smiling and laughing at the most simple things we take for granted. I believe that is why many people find it is a revelation to see a child growing and learning new things for the first time.

That is how God see's us, His little children that He loves and adores; He is omnipotent and He can be everywhere at any time, so it is not hard for Him to be at every birth of His children. He dotes on us in His heart as He sees us growing up and learning new things. He plans out our lives, steering us to new opportunities and situations that shape us into the people that we become. He even uses our mistakes and missteps to His advantage, and if we are willing and wise, we will learn from those mistakes and seek Him out for answers.

My friends, God is a Father of many, many children, and He welcomes us into His kingdom when we decide to follow Him; He lights up with joy and laughter as we learn to love Him, and trust Him, and rely on Him as Our Savior and Comforter. The very presence of the Lord in my heart brings me joy and peace, even when things are strange and tough in the world. It is a joy and relief to know I will have Him always in my life and in my heart.

That is why is hurts His heart so much, when His own children reject Him, ignore Him, call Him a fantasy and a myth, curse with His Name on their tongues, refuse to listen to Him when He knocks on their hearts, or deny the revelations of this existence. He has cried at least one tear for those who are confused and hurting, but still won't come to Him for healing and redemption.

My God is loving and caring, and He is a gentleman: He will not force anyone to come to Him if they stubbornly refuse to acknowledge Him. How I wish that I could convey the horror of not knowing my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and what that entails. I can only say that those who choose to believe in Him will have peace and joy and other good things in this life and then to everlasting life with Him in His Kingdom, which is coming soon. But for those who reject Him, this life is the only real pleasure they will ever have, because life without God is everlasting death and pain.

How do I know these things? My experiences with God have been a treat, as I pray and study the bible and read the commentaries and listen to His word being preached . I have become very close to Him, and this is something that I do every day, because I need it. I need the encouragement of his words and the prescense of His Spirit in my heart to get through every day of my life. Yesterday, as I was typing out my first blog post, I asked the Lord if we could in the future create something together, you know like a perfect purple flower, or a really beautiful song, but then I thought, why would God want to do that? I mean, He is all powerful and He knows everything already, and knows what is going to happen,so how could anything I make ever do interest Him? And this is what He spoke to my heart:

The Lord said, "I love to experience these things with My children. even though I know everything there is to know, I love to experience these things with My children as if it is the first time."

So, that's it everybody, God loves and wants to be apart of our lives, even though He already knows everthing we are going to say and do, everything that we learn, and everything we will do in the future. He just wants to be apart of it all. He wants to share His love with us and receive glory from our decision to be just like Him. That's why He made us, he wanted some more beings to love and care for, He wants to be our friends and to share this beautiful, glorious universe with us.

The most amazing part is that He created this world, and created us with free will knowing that we would mess up and choose to go on our way; but because He loved us so much He gave us a way to solve this problem, the sweetest gift, if only we would just accept it. Thank God, I accepted His gift, Jesus Christ and my Lord and Savior, and Thank God you accepted Him too!

Now, if you have not accepted Him as your savior, you cannot claim citizenship in the Kingdom of God, because you must accept His free gift to receive these benefits, which are love, friendship, peace, joy, and salvation. There is a way to receive it:

Prayer of Salvation

Lord,

I repent for trying to be master of my own life. I change my mind about who I want to be in charge of my life. I turn from my useless and unproductive thoughts that I am the center of my universe and choose to believe in the living God who created everything, including me (Acts 14:15). I have lived without a purpose but now I will live to hear and obey You, God (Jn. 5:19, 20,30).

I confess with my lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead. I believe that God so loved the world He sent His only Son Jesus to shed His blood to wash away the barrier of sin (Jn. 3:16)

I receive You, Jesus as My Lord and Savior (Jn. 1:11,12).

I welcome You, Holy Spirit, into my life to rescue and empower me and to restore me to intimacy with my heavenly Father (Acts 2:38).

If you just confessed this prayer, you are saved! I welcome you into the family my (brother/sister) I pray for peace, joy, and happiness in your life as you allow the Lord to love you and bless you and give you assurance of everlasting life with Him forever and ever......PRAISE GOD!

May the Lord keep you and Bless you this day....Amen
